Nicole Taylor, DVM

Chief of Staff
(she/her/hers)

Veterinary medicine has always held a special place in my heart because it allows me to care not only for animals, but also for the people who love them. One of the most rewarding parts of my job is developing lasting relationships with clients and their pets over the years. I feel honored to be part of their journey through every stage of life, from welcoming a new puppy or kitten into the family to supporting beloved pets through their senior years. Helping strengthen the bond between pets and their people, while serving as a trusted partner in their care, is what brings me to Cascade every day.

I earned my bachelor's degree from DePauw University in Indiana before attending St. George's University School of Veterinary Medicine in Grenada. I completed my clinical training at The Ohio State University and have proudly called the Pacific Northwest home for the past eight years.

My professional interests include preventive medicine, feline medicine, dermatology, dentistry, and pain management, with a special passion for helping senior pets maintain comfort, mobility, and quality of life. I am Fear Free® Certified, Low Stress Handling® Certified, and Feline Friendly Certified, and I strive to make every veterinary visit as positive and stress-free as possible. I believe that compassionate care, open communication, and individualized treatment plans are key to helping pets thrive throughout their lives.

Living in Grenada sparked my sense of adventure and ultimately led me to the Pacific Northwest, where I enjoy spending as much time outdoors as possible, especially on sunny days. Outside of the hospital, I love cooking, live music, reading, and traveling. I share my home with my three cats, Bento, Marlin, and Ceviche, who continually remind me why I chose this profession and fuel my passion for helping pets live happy, healthy lives.
